I have a flowerhorn and a blood parrot paired and have unsuccessfully breed 4 times. I know it's most likely not possible to have a successful breeding. My question, Is it to stressfull for the fish to continue the cycle? And should I separate them in different tanks?

As long as they aren’t beating each other up to bad during the process, I say let them try.

It’s what they do, it’s their natural drive to try to reproduce.

Yeah so far they have shown zero damage. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt stressing them and causing health issues, now or eventually.

If you had a situation where they were at a continuous state of stress from the actual act, to protecting the eggs and fry from other fish, you may want to step in and force them to take a break in between spawns.

Usually even with consecutive spawns there’s a period of a week or two where they will rest up and then go again.
In that case I’d say it’s fine to just let them be.
