Everyone and their crazy uncle are trying to make a buck on youtube these days. That said, you can learn to do almost anything there and to me, whatever the subject, some are good, some okay, and some a complete waste of time. For me there's nothing to see with FF and his self-promotion. I understood (and had seen) low tech, low maintenance tanks long before I ever heard of him. Meanwhile he's like a broken record: Stop doing water changes! Nitrates are good! Parasites are good!

This guy does low maintenance tanks, probably better, without the goofy claims about nitrates or parasites, and the only promotion happening is when someone else tours his shop.

This gentleman has moved on from providing minimally accurate information on how to build a gross tank and is making his money from clicks... which I sadly just donated one. It's not bad enough that he's selling sketchy instructions that result in water parameters known to be unhealthy but now he's moved on to selling scoops of dirt to whatever sheep will listen to his nonsense.

I feel like I need to take a shower. Five bucks says his fish would like one, too.
