are these pellets soft like hikari massivore or hard/dense like new life spectrum?? Anyway to get a sample before purchasing?

If you are wondering if they are crumbly, they are not. These pellets are hard and dense enough that they sink immediately, yet are readily enjoyed by fish. We have tested them extensively for tank pollution, and after more than 4 hours they stay together and don't dissolve into a cloud of mush like other pellets do.
