So ive been using frozen (not freeze dried) brine shrimp and blood worms for a while and i feel as though they cause problems. My first 3 ADF's died to unknown circumstances and my single survivor is floating at the top with a slightly inflated stomach.
I bought 6 guppies and 2 tiny brittlenose plecos, well when i got back one of my plecos was lying upside down on the floor with a bulging stomach because i fed them brine shrimp yesterday. The guppies are fine and so is the other pleco.

I get a single cube out and get some aquarium water and let it thaw, after 10+ minutes i drain the water and put small amounts in the tank, should i just stick to flake foods? blood worms end up being pooed out the same but just colourless after fish eat them. Brineshrimp dont cause as big of a problem but i dont understand why one pleco died.
The tank is definitely cycled and water parameters are fine. temperature is just right, filter is working and plants are doing well and are nice and green.
Why did my pleco die? i accimilated it nicely with driping method, the other pleco is looking alright and so are all the guppies.
Should i just throw out my frozen foods and stick to algae wafers+fish flakes+frog pellets?
Any help would be much appreciated.

There is not much nutritional value in frozen adult brine shrimp. Whereas baby brine shrimp is very nutritious. If the food is not eaten quickly it can and will foul your tank.

Not sure if the brine shrimp are babies or adult, the brineshrimp are Gamma Blister (i have 3 different ones, spiruluna omega 3 and garlic) where as the blood worms are some JMC blood worms

It depends on who freezes it. Some can kill, obviously.
