thinking about ordering a 48x18x16 rimless for a planted tank, just wondering if they are any good or if they're tanks have problems?

wasnt sure where to post this other than here, sorry if this isn't a good forum for this question.

Don't know what your concerns are. Purchase from a reputable vendor would be my advice. Rimless aquariums are ideal for planted and reef.

Agree with the above and not really sure what your main worry is???

I personally run a 50G rimless planted tank without any problems, and several other members here do as well...

Infact i would say most serious aquascapers tend to use rimless glass tanks for the astheics of the tank when setup...

he means the vendor, Glass Cages, and is asking if they are any good.

I don't own their tanks but I know multiple people do here and I believe its a mostly positive experience.

thanks. and that was what I was asking, I don't want the tank to fall apart or something.

Was just thinking, depending on price, might be worth looking into ADA rimless tank... those are quality tanks but may cost a bit on your end since they are from Japan...

yeah I looked into it they are SUPER expensive for just the tank

^ yeah, wasnt sure how much they charged over on your end, but over here they arent cheap either, but arent too overly expensive for what they are...

yeah, I've heard they make pretty nice stuff and from what I've seen thats true but I've never bought anything from them. but it kind of seems like everything is 15% more than everything else, in this case the difference in price is 317 and ada 700+ the wooden crate and they charge 80$ for a wooden crate. thats only a 36x18x18 crate too, the price of the 48x18x18 crate isn't listed.

I personally own an ADA 36" X 18" x 18" and the seems on the thing are done beautifully, low iron or crystal glass is used making the tank really clear...

I'm not so sure i would buy their cabinets and other equipment with cheaper alternatives, but i definitely do like their tanks...
