Hi guys,
I'm not new to flowerhorn hobby I have lots of SRDs and some Kamfas
Some days back I bought 9.9 Kamfa from Thailand it was very colourful when I saw him and even for first few days he was showing some colors and suddenly like few days back his dark,
His tail and anal fins showing faded some yellowish color
So I thought I might get definate solution over here.
First day and current day pic I'm sharing so those pictures might clear my question
Thanks for help in advance Screenshot_2020_0718_175413.pngScreenshot_2020_0718_175433.png

His in 4 ft tank single fish you can see Hump Increment actually his very active now he was very inactive frist 2 days
Hopefully he will turnout very beautiful
Thanks for your suggestion I'll keep update of him

Definitely looks to be fading, may take up to a year to fully fade, or it may not ever fully fade.

Now that scary I mean really there is fishes who never ever fully fade ?
Plenty of faders never fully fade. It's all upto genetics and time. I have 2 female fader red dragons and both have drastically different degrees of fading. The one that is almost completely faded was completely faded at 1-2in but as she grew she gain some of her color back. These are my 2 girls btw. The almost complete fader is named star for how bright her color is and her big sis that has only 1 spot faded is name Big Bertha for how manly she looks lol. But as you can see with my 2 girls, even if they are born from the same parents and from the same batch of fry they vary drastically in looks just due to different genetics.
