so my ornate decided to go on a walk about the other night. I found him a bit stiff but I put him in the tank and he started breathing. the tank is 30" tall so it was a bit of a fall. we've been watching him for 2 days and he seemed like he was going to be ok. the wife just sent me this pic. I'm on the fence about putting him down. thoughts?

he ate a huge pile of silversides the day before I moved him into a freshly set up 150g. new substrate and water. I cleaned the cascade 1500 canister that was on his 75g and moved it to the 150. I had the h.o.b on with just sponges to help speed up removing the cloudiness. the h.o.b lid was off and he was on the floor. im seriously bumming, he was very interactive with me.

Dont give up on him it usually looks worse before it gets better. Ive had this happen a few times.

This guy was partially stuck to the floor.

Good practice is to duct tape the lids and cover any openings with egg crate (weighted) or ducted tape pieces of acrylic.
