Is he anything more than a feeder???

Came with a batch of feeder fish, just noticed today that he wasn't a guppy. Or at least not the one's I'm used to. What stood out to me where the dark vertical lines on his body, and the brite red stripe running horizontally along his body. Try and disregard the long red turd or at least I hope it's a turd. So whatever he is I think he's cute.... Sorry so many pics.. I was trying to get all views so that I could get an accurate answer... Thanks guys!

Thanks guys! I kept him he's in the 20g where no one gets eaten except the ghost shrimp!! Although I think I'll have to get him a few friends.... of his own kind I mean....

Swordfish are great. Don't keep to many males together without enough females around, otherwise they scrap.

ya, if he is a male. a female would be nice for him. females dont have the long sword like fin on the bottom (if you didnt know that already) That may be a male. Looks like the sword is starting to develop, but its young still. Ive had some that I thought were going to be malesand ended up being females.. so only time will tell
