Hey everyone I recently noticed my tat "red tail payara" has been moving around all sluggish like in a unbalanced slow moving kinda way. I've even put my hand in the tank and cupped him with my hand gently and he made very little attempt at swimming away. Usually as walk by the tank he shoots behind diftwood like a bullet so there's definitely a problem if he's letting me touch him. If it helps any there have been no changes or stock added in the last 5-7 days and about 30 hours ago he was racing up and down against the glass like a mad man. Nitrate is 0 nitrite is 0 ammonia is 0 and I still did a 40% wc and afterwords turned off the lights. There's also no physical signs off diseases at all he looks like a million bucks still I don't understand.
is he going to die?? please help

Please reply this is my fav fish and getting another might take years around here. Also his mouth is slightly open but payara shed there sabers and they usually have there mouth opened. Last time he ate was about three days ago.
