Is her stinger going to fall out?

took a couple of pics of my motoro today it looks to me if her stinger is being replaced by a new one. how often does this happen? any info would be great

im not sure how often it happens but ive read its common for rays to shead thier sting and grow back a new one.

I have seen it happen every 3 to 4 months that the old stinger falls out with new in place already.

Make sure to remove the old stinger from the tank. and good luck finding it. Usually takes me three times going through the full tank

they can get impaled by it, with potential for injury. There are plenty of pics floating around with rays having barbs stuck through them.
