Well, the dojo loach is a coldwater fish, and so is the hillstream loach, which needs a specialized setup. So you should drop them from your list simply because they're not suited for your water conditions.

Opaline gouramis aren't generally tolerant of other gouramis. You'll NEVER see your kuhli loaches, if they do come out often enough for you to see them they'll probably get eaten by one of several potential fish. sparkling gourami and giant betta aren't exactly a good mix and I'd be worried about either getting eaten, especially the former.

The rest I'm not sure about compatability wise, but the placement of your angelfish are the least of your problems.

I don't do stocking advice but most of us keep multiple tanks for a good reason. Nothing says you have to keep all of your fish in one tank :)

I was thinking of your sleeper goby when he gets big

What you should do is figure out what fish you want the MOST, and work around them. So far, it pretty much looks like 2 Angels, a plec and a female betta.

Work around that stocking and you'll be much happier.

if you really want to find out, just do it. there are always special situations where good ideas turn bad and bad ideas work. i have clown loaches in high pH, with the hillstream loach and a madtom catfish. i have platies breeding in my african cichlids tank. i have convicts with koi and comets. ive mixed many fish that arent mixible. it can work if you make it work.

you just have to make the tank work for everyone. research all the fish you want, weed out the ones who arent compatible and decorate the tank as best as possible to suit all the fish.

Blue-eyed plecos are available again? Haven't seen them in >20 years.
