isn't the Parachromis Loisellei from Central America and the Paratilapia Polleni from Africa? I dont' know if it will work some of those guys get biig. Maybe if you added them all together when young.

I'm not sure but the breeder suggested that, any other nice set ups you can think of? I know most of the big monsters are mean, but I want a peacfull tank

might work..........get'em small, the talapia from the african riverine systems and madagascar have similar water needs to sa/ca cichlids.

You seemed to have selected a wide range of temperaments and water qualities. Anything is possible, but life can be much easier when selecting fish from similar regions with similar temperaments.

Just say no to the polleni..... Haitiensis instead 100%.
