I currently have a 10" florida gar in its grow out tank. I was planning to mix it with my endlis, but they range between 12"-15". My Q is- Is it a good time to mix or should let my fl. gar grow out a little more? This is my 1st fl.gar and I'm really enjoying him/her.:)

My 120g 48"x24"x24". which is not set up yet, will b setting it up soon. Thnx for the reply.:D

Do you plan on upgrading to a larger aquarium at some point? The gar will eventually need an 180 gallon aquarium at minimum, but it will be fine in the 120 gallon aquarium for quite some time.

Currently its in a 40b, I got my fl gar when it was only about 6"-7". I never noticed it was 10" already thats why i decided to move it into a bigger tank. As for the thickness of my endli, I got a female thats quite thick compared to the fl gar.
