Is It A Nice Area?

Is Manhattan Beach a nice area? Is it as nice as Newport or more like Santa Monica? Scale of 1-10...10 being the nicest.

If Newport was a 10.....I would say Santa Monica is an 8 and Manhattan a 7. There is not as much to do in Manhattan Beach nor is it as nice as Santa Monica or Newport Beach. Just my 2 cents.

The view is awesome...some very nice homes, well kept beach...Some volleyball nets...The 90210 beach house was there, if you ever watched that kind of stuff back then...

Only on foot...Walked the very long pier (I think there was a food stand at the very end?), walked the beach, and listened to music all over the town in the streets. Played some beach football with about 20 people...Was an awesome time.
