Yes the large is for sure male.I am not % sure about the smaller one but they have a few differences like body shape,coloration,longer and shorter fins and they are Cicla Kelberi.

The "large hump" doesn't mean male in cichla. It can be used as a presumed indicator. I've had females have them, and have seen others. It's not very common though. Venting an anal fins works best.

Yes it is a little complicated at the moment.Large is 45-50 cm and small is 40-45 cm.Up to now they are happy together with no fighting at all.Will vent them in a few weeks cause at the moment are recovering and dont want to stress them
 
I forgot to notice that the large fish has huge eyes and the smaller fish normal size eyes.Has anybody notice something like that with Kelberi?Do the males have much bigger eyes than the females?
