Looks like a male texas hybrid to me. Females have a black blotch on their dorsal fin. By its coloration it might be trying to breed or is a little stressed.

Looks like a male Texas to me, not sure in locale or specifics but that's about what mine looks like.

Good looking fish, they grow quick and color up nicely!

+1 once settled in he'll lighten in colour and you'll get some stunning shades of blue coming through , nice find
