My calico convict has babies with his pink jellybean convict girlfriend. (Not a hybrid) I'm hoping for calico jellybeans.
Both parents are pink based, so all the babies are, too. The shape and marbling may vary.
Actually, yes it is. It's summer where most of you guys are, and the warmer temps of many tanks around the northern hemisphere means more active fish. I.e. more breeding.
Not here in the southern hemisphere tho. Heaters are barely keeping our fish alive haha.
all my pairs bred all winter long. since march, only my managuense have bred for me. my temps in my tanks run really high durring the summer in the fishroom. large waterchanges are the only thing that seems to trigger them in the summer. also i i black out the windows to keep algae from growing on the glass so its stays near pitch dark unless my lights are on.
