to eat algea off the rocks?
i have been seeing alot of ''clean spots'' on my rocks... could it be them?
 
its possible, afterall, they have a vegetarian diet.....
 
yea.. figured... im going to get 2 more this week :D
 
Yeah they do it.

I don't notice mine doing it often though.
 
my white variat eat anything so i won't be surprised if he eats algae as well :)
 
They've been known to graze on some algae here and there
