well i always wanted to have a fish tank with a sand bottom but i dont know how i would have to clean it or if it was easy to do ... well let me know how u do it and do u think it is easy

Honestly?
no at first for me when i first switched to sand i got frustrated..kept vacuuming out sad each time...i didn't want to suck it all out !!
but once you get the hang of it its easier than gravel for me now... you just swoosh the water around above the sand and the lighter stuff floats up...than you vacuum up the stuff just above the sane...once you get the hang of it you can vacuum with out losing much or any sand^_^
personally i love sand now but it has its down sides just like gravel.
