Is it good to fish after a big rain???

I've heard its something about the barometric pressure change that a storm brings about. I've had good luck before rain, during rain, and after rain, but nothing super consistent.

Same as what xEchOx said. The fish know it's going to rain before the weatherman does. LOL. Many animals have the ability to "sense" a change is coming. Remember the tsunami? People said animals were all acting funny.

When I go fishing after the rain I always catch something, when I go during the rain, I hardly ever do, and if I go when it's not raining (before or during a bright, clear day) I catch about 50% of the time, so I would say go after it rains.

In general, I've always had better luck before and during rain than after.

After seems the best for fishing and netting. If it really floods, alot of the fish come in to the newly formed lake bed which you used to stand on and fish, to eat the bugs and other things living there.

during the rain, depending on how much rain and how big the body of water is, they fish may or may not eat if the water parameters are changing.

If the rain's pH, temp, etc are the same or close enough to the body of water's parameters, or if there isn't too much rain, fish are opportunistic and will eat stuff that gets washed in such as worms and bugs.

Fish will also eat more after the rains because things still get washed in.

river's and stream's are good after a rain storm.. but it all depend's on the atmopheric condition's ..
