I don't know about you guys...but i can't help but get bored of my fish every once and a while. It's not like i dont' have what I want, however, i don't think i'll ever be happy. Even when i have my custom made 1000 gallon tank in my own house, with all the fish that i've ever wanted i'm still gonna want more....Are any of you guys like this? :confused:

You are right, I always want what I don't have. It's the American way. Having said that, you should enjoy what you have. Fish are not a television program, they are animals. They have very intersting behavior. If you want some excitement, try breeding. I breed platys. The fun is you never know what the fish will look like when they mature!
 
that's the problem with this hobby, it's addictive, you always want more. There's always another species that catches your eye, and you always think "one more" etc :)
 
Fishemon! Got to collect them all! Do you fantasize about knocking out walls to make room for tanks? Or knocking down your house to build a tank...
 
when i was young and only had a 20 gallon i used to kill my fish to buy new ones...i would never do this again so noone condemn me
