Is it normal for pbass to fight?

Why do they like to peck on each other and fight? Is this their normal behavior? I have the orinos constantly picking on the kelberi but lately the kelberi is holding his ground.

yup...my pbass do it every minute of the day,unless they are begging or feeding.
establishing hierarchy.

Mine always push each other around but it not big deal unless you start to seeing major damage.

Try put in some more, share the aggresion between several underdogs, my 7 monos doesn´t fight,just show off, yawning-shaking/color up the 3 bars and front dorsal in black.

There cichlids remember that, and all cichlids fight in one way or another, but Orinos are typically territorial by nature, so yea it's normal.

Oh I did not know this. They're not harming each other but they do push each other around. My tank current has 5 cichlas. 3 Orinos and 2 kelberi. I am looking into adding an azul if I don't have to give up an arm and a leg to buy one.

and yea ornios and ocells are the bad asses
