Is it normal for a lidless 90g tank to evaporate close to 1cm of water a day?

Our house is fairly dry but nothing abnormal for southern Ontario. I have a powerhead creating alot of surface disturbance if that factors into this at all. Just was wondering is this is normal or if I might have a small leak somewhere. I haven't found any wetness around the tank or on the floor yet.

if its lidless, yes.

I experience very little evaporation on my 150g but its because of the versa tops and trim I have at the back to seal it. there are tons of water drops on the inside of the glass top, which is where evaporated water that otherwise would have gone out has condensed on the glass top, only to fall back in the tank again..

also, the warmer the water, the more evap. you will get.

if you have no wetness around your tank, you have no leak.

normal, open top tanks do evaporate alot compared to close top tanks. I had to top off my open top planted tank a gallon every couple of days.
