Is it normal to see the heat coming off my heater? I know it sounds kind of weird but i just noticed it. Looks the the road on a hot day.

Room temp is 70 tank is around 80. have the heaters at 80 to.

when you look across the desert sand... you can "see heat coming off the sand"... in the same we we can commonly see "heat coming off the heater" in the water...
