If I do a 25% water change on 90g tank using Python system will it hurt to put the recommended WC into tank first then fill. Before I woud leave water sit for 6-8 hours for my 30 gal. Now that i have bigger tank and changing 23 gallons at once from tap will this shock the fish? I hate to have to pump the water back into tank if it's not that much a big deal for the fish safety.

yeah I guess I coud do 5g at a time. Maybe buy a ten gallon let set for couple hours and pump it in to tank. Any other quick, cheap, safe ideas?

i change 80g at a time in my 150. i empty the 80g out then i start filling back up to the tank straight from the tap, adding prime as soon as i start filling with no probs at all, been doing it this way now for 2 years.

Thanks I was worried the conditioner would not work that fast. If you done that much and nothing has happened I'm grateful for your advise. Thanks!

Ok Thanks, I taped a flat digital thermometer to my python hose. so after running for a couple minutes i can easily adjust the temperature while filling.

:iagree:. I use the EXACT same method. What benefits do you get from letting the water sit? I dont have that much time on my hands.
