Ok so i have a 210 gallon tank that has 2 Oscars a 12 inch red Oscar and a 7inch albino Oscar i want to add a silver Arowanna with them but dont know if my Oscars will just kill him which is why i ask this. Any help or advice would be great.

how big of a tank do i need for a silver arrow then?

I think the minimum size is 8'x3'x2' I've had mine in my 150 6'x20"x2' for a year and in a few days they are going into my 240 8'x2'x2'.

Because you have a 12" oscar which is pretty big, you would have to get a pretty large silver. Definately over 12", i would go with something around 17"

I'm no arowana expert, but quick research shows that silvers can get 4 feet long. Even if yours only got 3 feet, you would still not have a near big enough tank. Just assuming 3 feet, you would want a tank at least 8 feet long, and 3 feet wide.

Again, i'm no arowana expert, but I think there are kinds that stay smaller.

Jardinis are out of the question for him.
