is it ok to keep a EBJD with an elephant nose

I have a 55 gallon tank with a 1.5" ELJD a 3-3.5" elephant nose fish a 4" tire track eel and a 2-3" pleco. the ELJD and elephant nose are getting along now but will that continue? I plan on moving the ELJD onto an 85 gallon i have in my room once its big enough. that will be a while though since the 85 has 5+ inch cichlids
