As long as your inside tank temps stay where they need to be and don't fluctuate much, yes.Just close off the rest of the top to let no air in.That will boost the heat up easy with a decent heat lamp.Saran-wrap or even magazines placled over all the open parts of a screen top.Don't worry, you wont seal it good enough to suffocate a frog!
