i know ive been posting alot of threads about my new raphael cat but im just trying to give the guy a good life! so is it ok if he isnt eating yet? he possibly could be but i still see the sinking shrimp pellets on the bottom of the tank. i fed him after the lights went out and last night but i dont know if he ate the food, he was very very active so i assume he is healthy maybe just going through some stress from coming home with me. what do you experts think?

SRs can be very reclusive and hide more than Osama Bin Laden. In the past I never used to see mine eat. They would never come out when the lights were on or when I was around. Just make sure you feed it after the lights go out.

i fed him some shrimp pellets which sink to the bottom and unfortunately break up into little pieces. usuallly the pieces i put are gone but i still find some of the leftovers in the corners of the tank. i bought some bloodworms today, do you think that will help him? or should i just wait it out.

Id give him the bloodworms, thats all my silver tipped will eat...

im just worried about him, i know im probably just overreacting because it is only his second day here and he is swimming around and being extremely active at night! he even splashed water out last night so i assume he is healthy, i just like to make sure my fish eat and are healthy.

luckily i made some driftwood caves for mine and he has one spot that he loves to sit! he actually came to the front of the tank to see me today! maybe it was a fluke but i loved it anyways!

like what? i think i saw him eat a bloodworm last night but i still found some on the ground so he isnt eating as much as he should. i put a little sand from my other tank in with him and he seems alot more active now. hes digging himself a bed as we speak.
