2 asian arowanas do not mix well ... the bigger one will definitely go after the smaller one until it is dead. If you want to mix, need a least 5 arowanas and above so that none can fix their attention on a specific arowana.

Is it that badly idea if i gonna put two of them together? By the way, if both is difference sex can or not? Maybe my big one is male and my small one is female? Then can mixed together? If i put 5 arowanas above then need to put the same type or different one?

I have a comm tank of four and its very peaceful, try it and see the worst that will happen is they'll fight and you'll have to separate them

edit: to answer you're question kelvinng01 it doesnt matter you can put what ever you want together, i'd avoid jardinis though they are usually pretty devilish

Jardinis are known for their aggressive nature. Are the yellow tails you talking about Banjar Reds? If you do not have 2 tanks, I suggest you do not try to mix the arowanas as you will not have a place to house the other in case of incompatibility.

Of course there are always the 1 in a million chance that 2 arowanas will live together in harmony. You might just be the 1 in a million :)
