Well, i have 1 silver aro(10"). I like asian aro very much but since they were not available in my area at the time of buying my silver i couldn't buy one. Now i have found one asian golden aro(10") at a cheap rate. Though i know that aro can't be kept in pairs. But i also heared sometimes it can be possible. What should i do? Should i take the risk? What is the possibility of keeping them together without any attacking?

if tank size is good, they can be kept together. btw, make sure that golden asian aro isn't just a jardini!

I think it is not jardini since they r not available in my area.

Do you have any other fishes in there? If so... i think it would be possible considering your tank size.

Yes i have other fishes......2 spotted gars(8"),2 oscars(6" & 4"),1 texas(8"),1 RTC(5")......

would work....what's your filtration like?

Why not seperate tank? Since u r difficult to get a asian aro... u should appreciate it very much and proud of it. i prefer u seperate it and avoid from fighting. Hope u may enjoy the asian aro with good spec.

Filtration is just fine......i have 2 top aquarium filters & also do 35%-40% water change in every 3-4 days.
