Is it possible to have a silver aro and a jar together?

Hi, i currently have a 3-4 inch silver aro in a 55 gallon tank. I want to know if i could get a 3-4 inch jar and put him in there. Will they get along?

Not a good idea, this mix should be left to experience arowana keepers. You would soon need to have multiple large tanks to attempt this.

jardini's are to aggressive for any tankmates. they are best kept alone. but if you already have a silver. dont bother with the jar. unless you have a seperate tank that is big enough for it.

I doubt it will work in a 300-400 gallon tank either. Depends on the jars temperment.

it can work, although chances are it won't...jar's ate very complicated fish..keep the separated if you only have the space for two, because 2 aros is a bad recipe...
