I am thinking of attempting to raise a Midas, Festae, Haitiensis, and maybe 3 Convicts in a 300 gallon tank. I am thinking all males. This is just a show tank. I like the males because of the hump on their heads. I know that this is a risk, what do you think? Do I have a chance or is it impossible?

Could be possible, depending on the individual fish. Are these fish you already have and want to put together, or fish you haven't gotten yet? Because if you don't already have them, I'd buy them as small as you can get them. Bringing them up together from a very young age, before their aggression kicks in, often helps them stay relatively peaceful with each other when they get bigger. Maybe add more cons, as well, so they have more of a dither effect.

possible! as long as you have enough fish!
