For Lima's to mate in a aquarium??My 2 Lima's are doing the "Lovers dance" in one corner of my tank and chasing thier tankmates away,i would love these to to make fry,has this ever been done??

I dont think so, i believe that they are an egg scattering species. Im sure that necro or a catfish head can help you better.

I had 2 Tigrinus doing the same thing ......nothing happend.

My limas do it all the time, but nothing ever comes of it. I thought for sure when the smaller one was fasting, and the bigger one kept getting more and more plump that I might see some eggs, but alas, nothing! Mine are 12" and 16". They'll be going into a 350 gal pond as soon as my 4000 gal is finished, we'll see what happens then!
