I put 3 1.5in clown loaches with a 2-3 in sen bichir. Then they together for 8 hrs. Now i check and one CL disappeared and the sens belly is huge. The sens head is way smaller than the body of the CL. Could he have eaten him?

Huh? You mentioned in one of your angelfish post your senegal is an inch sized yet I never saw an inch sized bichir before, let alone a 2" specimen. An inch sized clown loach is far too small. Seperate your loaches and bichirs immediately.

Possible? Yes. Likely? No, unless you're exaggerating the loach size and under estimating the bichir. I'm definitely with Lupin on this, separate them. Being bottom dwellers, loaches would be amongst the larger fish he could take on. In any case, he'd grow faster and you'd never know when he'd actually be able to eat them. It's a recipe for disaster.

I wentback and removed the bichir to a seperate tank and decided to flip through the sand. While doing so i saw a tail? Hanging out of my fluval4s flow hole. I took it apart and lo-and-behold the CL was in there! He somehow snuck in!

Botias are good getting into almost anything, but sometimes they're no so good at getting out. I've had to break a couple of ornaments to save one. Not for the same fish, or I might have left them there a while the second time.

FPiX, the guys above are giving you some sound advice... good job on following it.

Well just because you haven't seen one, doesn't mean they don't exist ;)

I found some middle ground, 1.5"
