your right (as always). there is a park nearby that has a natural creek that im going to take it to.

Yes, thats it! Make sure it invades an ecosystem! NO!!! Never release an aquarium fish into the wild. Kill it yourself.:nilly:

its a pleco man its not like its a snakehead. these fish are found everywhere in the USA. just because a fish is tank born doesnt mean it will turn into some super natural pleco that eats people. chill out:screwy:

This just guarantees it’s someone else’s problem by making it an invasive species yourself…

While I feel you should try a little harder to find it a suitable home…

…The best way to kill it would be to lob it’s head off with a large knife, machete or hatchet… whichever it appropriate for it’s size…

I’ve heard a hundred times the freezer is painless but refuse to accept that… I hate the darn cold and I’m sure the tropical fish won’t appreciate it much either…

A creek??

Um what if it has some sort of parasite or disease from your tank that is not natural to your little creek? Be a responsible fish keeper...if it were a dog would you just leave it in a park? Im sorry but so dumb

Just not a smart remark at all...no need to flame someone who is clearly trying to help. Im surprised you have not been jumped on by many others right now...or I guess releasing fish into the wild is cool now.

understand...its a pain in the ass when we have a fish we cant getrid of, but we bought them so its up to us to figure out the best decision. Im sure some lfs or someone would take it. Good luck
