is it possible

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they can coexist in a big enough tank but IMO that tank will not be big enough, you could however house a lone oscar very comfortably or even could have a breeding pair of GTs

I wouls say the minimum tank size for green terrors and oscars to coexist would be somewhere in the 120+ gallon and would still need heavy filtration

even in that size, it also matters if the pair will allow other cichlids to share the tank

dude, it may be ok to start with but eventually the situation will get worse. oscars are great community fish but only in big enough tanks. in my experience in smaller tanks they can get pretty nasty. loose one oscar and maybe u can get away with it. try convicts instead of GT as tank mates to a lone oscar. with def work in your tank. good luck. if u need a pair of convicts then come and pick em up from me. i have a pair that i no longer need.

you know i have dealt with convicts in past and they are really very nasty.:nilly:.
They even chase a bigger fish. I'll think over it what to do next
By the way thanks for the offer Nishant ;).

a pair of adult convicts when breeding can also cause a lot of trouble for an oscar, especially if it is not a full grown adult
