So i just got home expecting my ornate bichir to be dead form all the issues last night. Hes still alive and after reading the sticky about bichirs i noticed he has a hard time keeping his back end down, The sticky said it could be trapped gas. But not only does mine have a hard time keeping his tail end down but he also cant stay upright. He keep flipping over on his back, not like hes dying but like he has not control. So is it possible that maybe its gas trapped in his stomach area making him flip over?
Also i haven't noticed him come to the top for air much, i usually have to net him and bring him up. Does anyone know how long bichirs can go without air?
