please help ID. this specimen.

i have been raising this one since he is 2 cm.
but now he turns 1.5 inches and start to have a appearance like rhombeus

i notice that at his forehead, the black line is developing.
is it geryi?? (i hope not)

probably too young to tell at this stage. why don't you want it to be geryi? it's pretty rare
 
his location is Thailand, maybe geryi is not rare over there but rhom is ????
 
actually all serrasalmus species are rare here, since they are illegal :eek:

however, they are always available in dark market :confused:


in fact, i have been kept 4 of them in the same tank, but at the time being they start to fight. bite each other tail fin, so i separated them individually.

after separation, their appetite less and lesser

should i continue keeping them as a group??
 
no, if you want to keep them all alive then keep them in separate tanks.
 
if they're illegal then why do you have them?
