I don't think you will have any problem. Just make sure you are buying quality.

There is not really a problem. some brands are just faster dissolving and thats about it.

seachems stuff is good. Just got to check the salinity, but it shouldnt make a difference

I have a Full Reef SPS and LPS tank so I need high calcium/ Alk and Mag. So I use Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. It is a good salt for the money. The oceanic salt has slight problems with Alk and PH. That is what I encountered when I used it. As far as Seachem never used it. Good luck.
