Hey you guys...i wanted to switch my Wallago Attu into the bigger 120 with the 11" RTC since my Wallago Attu just grew bigger in the 30 gallon grow-out...but the thing is that it was about 4-6" when i got the Wallago Attu now its about 8.5" now but its just long and not wide...and im afraid of my RTC thinking it of a long Noodle when i turn off the lights...thats why i was afraid of leaving my 4" Dovii in the tank with them so i left and added a night light in the room so its not completely pitch black like before...so atleast the cichlids and other fishes know where the RTC is at and where its swimming around at....is it safe now to put the wallago in the 120 with the RTC ?

come on ppl you guys gotta have some sort of answer right now....can't wait till tomorrow...my dovii is starting to be territorial on my Wallago....so yea...

Sounds like your RTC could snack on him. I don't know anything about Walagos but if he looks like a noodle he could be lunch. I wouldn't do it if you can't stand expensive feeders.

yea...that 's what i thought at first so i'll wait for now...unless someone wants to buy my 11-13" RTC for a bill if its worth it...

your redtail will eat it if the wallago is much skinnier so i wouldn't risk it either

alright...but do you think the Wallago may have a chance or even do have a way faster growth speed than an RTC? Like give the RTC less food than usual and feed the Wallago abit alot and switch to normal feeding routines...

both cats are eating machines. if you keep the rtc it will eat the attu, along with the rest of your fish. keep the attu, and it will eat the rest of your fish. its just a matter of time with either species.

well im not going to be keeping my RTC for life....just for a while not forever...and my Wallago, its gunna be with my uncle or a SF Aquarium
