Is it safe to put my BGK in?

I recently treated my 55 with two copper medications for my AT Dat. More specifically they were coppersafe, and Maracyn 2.

I am getting a BGK tomorrow, approximately 4 inches. Since the Coppersafe lasts for 1 month, should I just do a few water changes in a row to remove it? Lastly what can it do to the BGK? Stress it out?

It might stress it out. The best choice would be to wait until the treatment wares off. Or setup a different aquarium until the treatment wares off. Just an option.

Ok, thanks. I am getting it at 4", so I will put it in my 20g where there is no copper safe. Then I will move it in after the copper wears away.

Ok. I will also be getting 1-2 Florida gars (4") to go in that 55 then later in a 125. I will be sure to post some pics!
