is it safe?

greetings all,

i want to know if its ok for me to put both of my females into same tank with the male.

he is about 12" at the moment and sexually matured, but the girls are at 6.5-7" its like 4" disc different..

will he attack or try to mate with the girls?

From everything I've seen, it should be fine. At that size I would think it shouldn't make that much difference.

should be fine...but if not be prepared to remove the females again.

nope, i move the girls out again.

he is just too big for them. as soon as the girls hit the water the male was over them, in no time he got one of the girls in his mouth and start munching away?!
but there was no visable damage to the girls. and u can see that the girls are really stress, so i took them out.

might have to try again in a months time when they put on a bit more weight
