Is it safe?

I bought 3 PB at 1.5 in. The other 2 out grew one, so I took the lil guy and separated him in a 10 gal. The other 2 is now 6-7 in. and the lil guy is 3-3.5 in. I have been feeding him a lot and he's not growing fast enough.
Would it be safe to put the lil guy with the other 2?

If it's 3" vs 7", I wouldn't do it. 3.5" and 6" is a possibility, but still a risk. Do you have a bigger growout tank? A 10g would definitely hinder the growth of a Pbass. It can still catch up, but you'll need a bigger tank.

I wouldnt do it, my 5.5"-7" ones beat my two 4" ones almost to death. I put the bigger ones in my 240 with my 20" aros.

I do have a grow tank. The 10g was a temporary solution. I sure hope it catches up soon. thanks!
