Ok, I have posted before about the growth rate of my female triple spot motoro....bought last Feb 2009 at 5-6 inch diameter, now at 20-inch diameter, over 30 with tail. She is in my 24 wide (72" x 30" x 25 high) and is now causing the tank to smell after a couple days after 30% water change. SHe is in with a small (8-inch) male hystrix, and a couple larger cichlids..........I feel the tank is now to small for her, and I dont want her to die from bad water quality. I am contacting local aquariums, but they dont seem interested.......what am I gonna do, as I cannot justify the cost of a larger aquarium, less then a year after I purchased the 240.........Is there any interest out there in the Philly area??/ I will not ship her......Is there any aquariums other then Camden, that may want a big ray? I am bummed about this but do not want the ray to die!!
Thanks for looking!
Thanks for looking!

.......I do 25-30 % water cahnges once a week, and only in the last month did tyhe small/nigtrates start to climb a little..unfortunately for me, her growth rate is too much for me.....I will miss her, but she needs a real home. I never expected her to outgrow my new tank in a few months, she probably will nbe a genetic giant!??....the 240 ngallon tank is 30 inches wide, so she does touch both sides when sideways......I am working on a couple leads for aquariums for donating her, I will post pictures again , but its tough for me to do away from home......there are some pics on some former posts.
