I think this is the general rule with all non-schooling carnivore fishes.

The two I have fight 2 or 3 times a week at present. It started when they got to be around 36". I had 3 at that point but my female Wallago ate the one that was a bit smallerat 33".

They are now about 72" and have now slowed down in growth and hopefully will stay at this size. But the fighting is pretty serious.

So in my case and to answer your question yes mine have gotten more violent the bigger they have grown.
