That instead of buying feeders or liquid ammonia you can just pee in a cup and throw it in the tank? :)

if your going that far why make a cup dirty?

This thread's popped up on here a few times and, every time, it gets decided that doing that is just plain disgusting and most people would rather stick with the tried and true less pee-filled methods.

yes, what do you think your fish do in the tank? the urea in your pee will be converted to ammonia.

i would not do it if your on dangerous medications or have a bladder infection.

From my understanding of basic health class, only if you have a bad liver.

The liver converts ammonia in the blood stream to urea which is passed via urine.

EDIT

Cliffs:
proteins broken down, creates ammonia in blood
liver breaks ammonia in blood stream down into urea
Urea passes via urine.

i was refering to what happens when the urine is in the tank. urea is used as fertilizer because it breaks back down into ammonia.

I just have to say how funny it is to go down the line and read all this lol.
