Ok I 'm considering buying a 75g tank that comes with a 7" motoro ray. For $450 bucks I don't think it is worth it. What is a fair price for this stingray? I see very few for sale here locally in Colorado.

I have a 350 gallon 6' x 4' x 2' tank that my silver aro pair will go into in a few months, would this be an OK tank for the ray? Eventually (2-3years) I will be building a 8' x 4' x 30" tank where it could live out it's life.

Actually I was thinking if I could get it for $350 I go for it. Does 7" year old motoro sound like it could possibly be stunted? How long would you figure this ray could stay in the 75g?

bump...to help a stringray out

Not a good deal at all.....

just my .02

ya the tank is way too small to do anything with. see if he will sell the ray seperate...

used 75g shouldn't go for more than $200 MAX. If vendors here sell motoros for $125, then you should realistically be paying no more than $325. NO DEAL!

Play dumb and ask the guy how big it was when he got it or how much he thinks it's grown. Also how often you have to "clean the water" That will tell you how he's taken care of it.

I agree though.. I would actually give no more than 300.00 for the whole setup.. or $125.00 for the ray itself..

don't let a clueless seller dictate price as he sees fit. You should know how much this stuff actually goes for, and don't let him try to bully you. It's like those people who try to sell 75g on craiglist for $800 just cause they say they have invested thousands. Total bs

They may have.. but sorry for their luck..

I often wonder if those people drop price dramatically after a while or let the item sit because they can't get their price for it..
