Is it worth it.

Not talking about monetarily as its only like 20 bucks, just is it worth it in general.

So I always knew fish set their clock depending on the light and water temp ect. I also know they changed activity and other functions based on time of day. So I have had my lights on timers for ever now to keep them regulated, but I only have one light so its alway dark like night or bright like high noon.

Would it be worth it to add a second light and second timer so I can have lite morning, bright afternoon, lite evening, dark night.

Just outta curiosity, is the tank in a secluded room without windows?

well yes and no. The back of the tank faces window but its 97% covered by a background. The front has a window but get so little light that it doesn't matter this is in my basement so the window doesn't get direct sun light. Even during the brights part of the day I need tank lights to even see the fish.
