I have two male jags, im giving one to my brother n law, am I crazy to keep a single male jag in a 200 gallon tank by himself?

Not crazy...maybe your trying to still decide on the compatible tank mates? Responsible i would say. I am sure you can have a few tank mates. Wait for the jaguar experts to comment :-) . In the meantime...your jags going to be a happy fish lol

Well some people like solitary fish if you leave him in there by himself he will grow and become an awesome fish with awesome fins and color with proper care there is a video on YouTube of like a 17 inch jag in a 265 by itself so keep him in there and grow him to be a monster :) :)
I had a 13 inch male jag alone In my 180 like 2 years ago and the colors he developed along with how nice his fins came out was awesome so if you like just him go for it !!

No tankmates just him to get huge, but my brother n law tells me I have a male n female, so ill just wait n see
